SHARON CARR ASSOCIATES, LTD is pleased to announce the return engagement of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON, a Jazz Age musical with book & lyrics by Tajlei Levis and music by John Mercurio, directed by Marc Bruni. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON is back by popular demand for an ongoing run at Off-Broadway's Oak Room in the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street, between 5th and 6th Ave.). Performances begin Monday, October 20. Press night is Monday, November 3 at 8 pm. Hailed by critics and audiences in January 2008, GLIMPSES OF THE MOON is the first original musical created specifically for the intimate wood-paneled Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel. Set in 1922, GLIMPSES OF THE MOON follows the jazzy whirl of Manhattan society, from champagne-soaked dinner parties, to luxurious vacation cottages and back to New York's elegant hotels. A charming romantic musical, based on one of Edith Wharton's rare comedies, GLIMPSES OF THE MOON is not without its share of heartaches. Popular but penniless, Susy Branch and her friend Nick Lansing devise a clever scheme: to marry and live off the wedding presents, while they help one another find suitable millionaires. The plan works perfectly-- until they fall in love. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON stars Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde) as Susy, and Chris Peluso (Lestat) as Nick, also starring is Jane Blass (Hairspray Nat'l Tour) as Ellie, Laura Jordan (Cry Baby and In My Life) as Coral, Daren Kelly (Crazy for You, Woman of the Year, Deathtrap, South Pacific) as Nelson and Glenn Peters as Streffy. Additional casting will be announced soon. The production features Lighting Design by Richard Winkler (Original A Chorus Line and 25th anniversary national tour of Evita), Costume Design by Lisa Zinni (Associate Costume Designer: Rent), Choreography by Denis Jones (Associate Choreographer: Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Scenic Consulting by Ted LeFevre (Broadway Associate: The Country Girl, Rock 'n' Roll, Grease, Coram Boy, Sweeney Todd). General Management is by Brierpatch Productions - Laura Janik Cronin/Scott Newsome, casting is by Geoff Josselson and the Stage Manager is Carlos Maisonet.

	Daren Kelly DAREN KELLY (Nelson) has been seen on Broadway in Crazy for You, Woman of the Year, Deathtrap, and South Pacific (NYCO). His Off-Broadway credits include Coward's Long Island Sound for T.A.C.T. Kelly has toured the country in productions of 42nd Street, Footloose, Promises/Promises, and Children. He has been seen in repertory at Yale, Long Wharf, O'Neill Center, South Coast, Kennedy Center, Center Stage, Asolo and Westport. His film and TV credits include Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, MAS*H, Kate & Allie, Loving and Love Hurts with Jeff Daniels.
