The SMACKDOWN is a night of no-holds-barred theater showcasing the most Unproducible short plays, brought to you by the town’s most daring playwrights, all battling it out before an audience to be crowned the most Unproducible of them all.

The evening’s festivities include audience voting, unlimited beer and wine, and entertainment by our incomparable hosts, Mel & El (The Mel & El Show).

Featuring the Unproducible works of Meghan Deans (Clare Running), J. Holtham (Togetherness),

Michael Lew (Bike America), Erica Saleh (In Memory of Julie Simmons), and Charise Castro Smith

(Estrella Cruz [The Junkyard Queen]). Direction by Jaime Castañeda (Atlantic Theater

Company's Chimichangas and Zoloft), Julie Foh (Red Fern Theatre'sOccupied), Nick Leavens (The

Management's The House of Von Macrame), Erik Pearson (Studio 42’s Billy Witch), and Pirronne

Yousefzadeh (Partial Comfort'sQVC). The plays of the Smackdown are produced by Alyssa Anderson,

Alex Barron, Stephen Stout, Stephanie Ybarra, and Leandro Zaneti.
